About the Course

The Electronics Engineering Technology program at Amankwakrom Fisheries and Agricultural Technology Institute (AFATI) equips students with hands on knowledge in circuit design, microelectronics, telecommunications, and embedded systems. The curriculum combines theory and practice to prepare learners for roles in electronics repair, industrial automation, and communication systems.

Course Duration

  • Total Duration: 2 years
  • Format: Full time
  • Structure: Year 1 Basic electronics, circuit theory, and practical assembly. Year 2 Microelectronics, communication systems, and automation projects

Entry Requirements

  • Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) or higher
  • Minimum age 16 years
  • Strong interest in science and technology
  • Basic numeracy and problem solving skills
  • Medically fit for technical training

Certification

Upon successful completion, participants receive the National Proficiency I and II Certificate in Electronics Engineering Technology, accredited by the Commission for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (CTVET) under the Ghana TVET Service (GTVET).
